Mathew also known as Dwasii was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica. After moving to New York City, he has made his mark as a versatile dancer and choreographer. He is a dynamic dance artist with a lifelong passion for movement. Specializing in dancehall and Afro fusion, Dwasii has also trained extensively in modern, West African, ballet, and contemporary styles. Over the years, he has worked with renowned artists like Mr. Vegas and ChiChingChing , and performed in iconic Las Vegas venues as a part of Bob Marley’s Hope Road cast. As a teacher, he dances to inspire the next generation with his extensive dance vocabulary and infectious energy !
